Every time i'm in Vegas, I always make it a point to check out The Improv at Harrah's. They have great headliners and drinks are reasonably priced. Shows are daily at 8:30 and 10:30 pm. This week, I had the pleasure of seeing the very funny Steve White. Dude, is crazy funny and I damn near spit out my beverage. About Steve:

Steve White is an African American actor and comedian, best known for his roles in Spike Lee films. He has worked with Lee five times (Do the Right Thing in 1989, Mo' Better Blues in 1990, Malcolm X in 1992, Clockers in 1995, and Get on the Bus in 1996). From 1992 to 1997, White performed stand-up comedy on Russell Simmons's Def Comedy Jam on HBO and he also had a recurring role on the ABC comedy series Hangin' With Mr. Cooper. Steve was most recently one of the guest announcers on The Price Is Right.

I've walked by this place a dozen times and finally decided to check it out. Located inside the MGM Grand, Wichcraft Sandwiches provides dine-in or carry-out. The turkey sandwich is one of the more popular items on the menu and it's really good! The service is fast and friendly also.

I'm not really an Elvis fan, but my grandma was all about it. Travelocity hooked me up with some free show tickets and turns out the only ones available were for Viva Elvis. This show was actually pretty sweet. Cirque Du Soleil puts on a great acrobatic performance, while capturing the life of the King. Well worth the price of admission.
